Frequently asked questions

How many reports are free?

You can create unlimited projects, issues and photos. The first three report exports are free. SnagWell Pro unlocks unlimited reports and CSV export, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

Does it work without reception?

Yes. Everything is stored on your device. Reports are built on the phone and shared with the standard iOS share sheet, so no connection is needed.

How does iCloud sync work?

If you are signed in to iCloud on both devices, projects sync automatically through your private iCloud database. You can see the sync status in Settings. If sync is off, sign in to iCloud in the iOS Settings app and relaunch SnagWell.

Can I mark up photos?

Yes. After each shot the markup editor opens immediately with arrows, circles, boxes, freehand, text and numbered stamps. Markup is stored separately from the photo, so you can change it later.

Can I add a floor plan?

Yes. Import a plan as a photo or PDF, then tap anywhere on it to log an issue at that location. Plans with pins are included in the report.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, or use the Manage Subscription button in SnagWell's Settings.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open SnagWell, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases.
