CheckWell Support

CheckWell keeps a shared list of children that several volunteers can check in and out from their own iPhones, with timestamps, guardian details, allergy flags, pickup codes and printable attendance sheets. It works with no account and no signal, and volunteers join a group through an iCloud share link.

Frequently asked questions

What is free?

One group with up to 15 children, one invited volunteer, unlimited check-ins and your first three exports. CheckWell Pro unlocks unlimited groups, children, volunteers and exports, as a monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase.

How do other volunteers join?

Open the group, go to Info and tap Invite Volunteers. Send the link with Messages or Mail. When the other person opens it on their iPhone or iPad, the group appears in their CheckWell and every check-in syncs between everyone. Sharing needs each person to be signed in to iCloud.

Does it work without reception?

Yes. Check-ins are saved on the device immediately and sync when a connection returns.

What are pickup codes?

Each child gets a four-digit code shown at check-in. Turn on pickup codes in the group's Info tab and volunteers will ask for the code before checking a child out.

Can I check several children out at once?

Yes. Tap Select on the Today screen, choose the children and tap Check Out Selected.

How do I print an attendance sheet?

Open a session and tap Export. Choose PDF for a printable sheet (AirPrint works from the share sheet) or CSV for a spreadsheet.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open CheckWell, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases.
